Situated in Salou and just an hour away from Barcelona, PortAventura is straightforward to get to and is easily accessible via public transport.
– By Car
If you’ve got access to a car on your holiday, you’ll need to take the AP-7 highway and take the specific exit to PortAventura to reach the theme park. Travel times will vary depending on the traffic, but it’s roughly 66 miles from Barcelona and should take around an hour-and-a-half.
– By Train
If you’re travelling by train, you should board at Barcelona Sants station. PortAventura has its own station on the R-16 line, so you’ll have no trouble finding it! Alternatively, you could travel via Tarragona, which has more frequent trains running from Barcalona Sants throughout the day. You can transfer from Tarragona to a train that’ll get you to PortAventura in as little as 10 minutes.
– By Bus
If you’re going to PortAventura straight from the airport, you could get a bus – but please note that routes are limited and there is only one bus each way per day. The journey time is between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on traffic.
