The race weekend typically includes practice sessions, qualifying rounds, and the main race, where drivers battle at high speeds, often exceeding 300 km/h. Race Weekend Schedule
Friday:
- Free Practice 1 (FP1)
- Free Practice 2 (FP2)
Saturday:
- Free Practice 3 (FP3)

Sunday:
- Grand Prix (main race event)
Race Format
Laps: Races run for a set number of laps, covering at least 305 km (approx. 190 miles), except Monaco (shorter due to its tight street layout).
Duration: Max 2 hours of racing (or 3 hours total including stoppages).
Points: Top 10 finishers earn points (e.g., 25 for 1st, 18 for 2nd, 15 for 3rd, etc.), with 1 extra point for fastest lap (if the driver finishes in the top 10).
