Fly Dublin-Krakow with Ryanair operated by Buzz Airlines. Flight departs Dublin at 19:25 and arrives Krakow 23:20 (please note that flight times are subject to airlines discretion). On arrival in Krakow, meet your local guide and transfer to the 4* Vienna House Andel’s Krakow where you are booked for four-nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
The Vienna House Andel's Krakow is a contemporary 4-star hotel, and is well-located just 9 minutes’ walk from the Main Market Square in Kraków and close to Galeria Krakowska, Kraków’s main shopping center. Its designer rooms come with air conditioning and satellite TV.
A buffet breakfast is served every morning at the Mavericks Restaurant and in the evening, you can relax over a drink in the SMOK bar.
This morning, explore Krakow on a walking tour with your local guide. Krakow’s UNESCO-listed Old Town is an architectural gem and the best way to explore is on foot. See the main city highlights including the Marketplace, the historic Cloth Hall, Wawel Castle (exterior view). Visit the medieval St. Mary’s Basilica (interior visit) with its wooden alterpiece carved by Veit Stoss.

Today, visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, to see the underground world of the oldest salt mine in Europe with its beautifully carved chambers, chapels and an underground lake: all made in salt. The Wieliczka mine is often referred to as "the Underground Salt Cathedral of Poland". In 1978 it was placed on the original UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
Discover the wonders of this infamous salt city. The tour starts with a descent down the stairs to a depth of 64 metres! You’ll be led through a number of chambers and see underground lakes, shrines and salt monuments. The underground labyrinth covers 9 levels at 64 to 327 metres below the surface of the earth. Nearly 2,400 chambers are connected with sidewalks, for a total length of 245km. The first tourist trail in Wieliczka was established at the Turn of the 19th century. The trail leads through numerous drifts and galleries where evidence of mining activity has been preserved. You’ll also see examples of sacred art and themed compositions relating to the history of the mine and legends surrounding it. Wieliczka is also home to the world's largest mining heritage museum, with a collection of unique pieces of mining equipment reflecting the development of mining techniques from the Middle Ages until today. The tour ends at a level that’s 135 metres below the surface, and you’ll return to the surface by elevator.

This evening, enjoy a pre-concert dinner in your hotel. After dinner, meet your local guide for transfer to the Tauron Arena for an evening with Andre Rieu in concert.
Today, you have the day free in Krakow for independent sightseeing. In the early evening, meet your local guide for coach transfer to airport for return flight. Flight departs Krakow at 21:20 and arrives Dublin 23:20.

Please note that there is a fair amount of walking on this tour. This tour includes three excursions, a walking tour, a visit to the Salt Mines which is not suitable for people with mobility impairments due to the number of steps involved. Ours are active holidays. Walking, stair-climbing and standing around for periods are unavoidable aspects of this tour. This tour is suitable for those of a normal fitness but may not be suitable for those who need support. Walking and getting on and off a coach several times a day is part of the tour.
