Our tour includes four-nights in cultural Krakow allowing you to immerse yourself in the city's rich cultural history.  Krakow is a historic city, and is one of Europe’s architecrural gems.  The city offers a myriad of things to do and see.  As part of your tour, you will see the city sights and hear all about the history of Krakow on our city tour.  In your free time, enjoy the many museums on offer, do some shopping or simply relax and enjoy a coffee at one of Krakow's many cafés.



Day 1 – Monday 27 May 2019

Your tour will start with an afternoon flight to Krakow. Your flight with Ryanair departs Dublin at 16:50 and arrives in Krakow 20.45 (flight times subject to change). On arrival in Krakow, meet your local guide and transfer to the 4* Q Hotel Plus Krakow in Krakow Hotel where you are booked for four-nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

4-Star Q Hotel Plus Krakow, BW Premier Collection® is situated in the Debniki district in Kraków just 50 meters away from the ICE Congress Centre and close to the major Krakow tourist attractions, such as Wawel Royal Castle, Kazimierz the Jewish Quarter of Krakow, and the Old Town. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and has a TV. Rooms include a private bathroom.

Day 2 – Tuesday 28 May 2019 – City Tour of Krakow

This morning, explore Krakow with our local guide as you take a walk through the Old Town. Krakow’s UNESCO-listed Old Town is an architectural gem and the best way to explore is on foot. See the main city highlights including the Marketplace, the historic Cloth Hall, Wawel Castle (exterior view). Visit the medieval St. Mary’s Basilica with its wooden alterpiece carved by Veit Stoss and The National Museum with the painting of Leonardo da Vinci’s “Lady with an Ermine“.

Day 3 – Wednesday 29 May 2019 – Visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine

Today, visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, to see the underground world of the oldest salt mine in Europe with its beautifully carved chambers, chapels and an underground lake: all made in salt. The Wieliczka mine is often referred to as "the Underground Salt Cathedral of Poland". In 1978 it was placed on the original UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

Day 4 – Thursday 30 May 2019 – Andre Rieu Concert

Morning and afternoon at leisure.
This evening, attend the highlight of your stay in Krakow – a concert performance by the wonderful André Rieu with Category 1 tickets.

Your evening will begin with pre-concert dinner in your hotel followed by an evening with Andre Rieu in concert.
At the end of the evening, private coach transfer back to hotel.

Day 5 – Friday 31 May 2018

Today, you have the day free in Krakow for independent sightseeing. In the early evening, meet your local guide for coach transfer to airport for return flight. Flight departs Krakow at 21:10 and arrives Dublin 23:10.

Booking Deposit
Booking deposit is €350 pp. Balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure date. No credit card charge on deposit payments.

Luggage allowance
One standard piece of hand luggage is included in your tour price. (10 kilos). Checked in luggage is available to purchase prior to travel, prices may vary. Please note this must be booked with a minimum of 14 days prior to travel. Bags booked within 14 days prior to travel will incur an administration fee of €25 per piece.

It is your responsibility to ensure your passport will be valid for your holiday. Please contact IFC should you have any queries regarding your passport. EU passport holders do not require a visa to travel within the EU. As a rule of thumb for European travel your passport should be valid until your intended date of return to Ireland. For travel outside the EU a validity of a minimum of 6 months beyond your return date is required. A visa may be needed for your holiday and information regarding this will be sent closer to travel.
